Job description:

Purpose of the role

Delivery of designs and special projects peripheral to the TSF.  Upgrading to the GISTM standards.

Job & Candidate Requirements 

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain 3D models our TSF and large Water DamsProduce drawings spanning concept, detailed, IFC and As-BuiltsProduce and maintain tailings deposition and decant management plansMonitor and report on TSF freeboard, beach length and Rate of RiseWork with engineers and survey to obtain inputs for models and drawingsEnsure accuracy in design and clarity over confirmed verses assumed dataFile input data, models and drawings in a logical and structured mannerWork with engineers to develop project solutions and TSF storage plansCollaborate with team members to help prepare reports and documentation

Skills and Expertise

Minimum 2 -5 years Civil Design experience, preferably with mine site experienceCivil Engineering Diploma or equivalent is highly regardedGood communication and relationship building with team membersExcellent working knowledge with civil design software (AutoCAD, Civil3D)Good working knowledge of MUK3D, QGIS, ArcInfo is highly regardedStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detailEagerness to learn and grow in the field of civil designAbility to work well in a team environment, contributing to company goals
