Key Responsibilities:

Develop unique and innovative jewelry designs using CAD software, based on customer specifications and design briefs.Ensure that all designs meet quality, accuracy, and manufacturing feasibility standards, paying close attention to detail.Work closely with team members, including other designers, gemologists, and manufacturing staff, to ensure seamless workflow and successful design outcomes.Communicate directly with customers to understand their design preferences, provide design updates, and address any concerns or modifications.Stay abreast of current trends in jewelry design, technology, and manufacturing processes to ensure designs are innovative and competitive.Have a strong understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes, materials, and gemstone settings to create designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and feasible to produce..Manage workload efficiently to meet project deadlines and ensure timely delivery of designs to customers and production teams.Seek opportunities for professional development and improvement in CAD skills, design techniques, and industry knowledge to enhance design capabilities and stay competitive in the field.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalentProficiency in CAD software, with a strong ability to create complex 3D designs.Strong attention to detail to ensure designs meet quality and accuracy standards.Creative thinking and the ability to generate unique and innovative design concepts.Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and communicate with customers.Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines and manage multiple design projects simultaneously.Ability to identify and solve design-related problems effectively.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture.
