Job Title: Cable Technician Pay: $18-23/hr (pay is dependent on experience) Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124 Duration: 4 months (Opportunity for advancement and/or conversion to a full-time employee) Description: We are seeking multiple cable technicians at either apprentice or installer level for a data center project. Responsibilities include installing cabinets, cable trays, ladder racks, fiber runners, containment, and trunks. Candidates should have experience in these areas for installer levels. We are also open to junior candidates who are eager to work, follow directions well, and fit culturally. Duties: + Data center build + Cable dressing + Basket tray installation Top Skills Required: + Cabling experience (coax, fiber, Cat5, Cat6, punch downs, etc.) - no license required + Strong work ethic - physical work involving ladders, server cabinets, and cabling + Data center or construction site experience Work Environment: + Fast-paced, physical position requiring lifting up to 25 pounds + Day shift with opportunities for overtime Additional Information: + Opportunity for advancement and conversion to a full-time employee + Target start date: 2/3/2025 + Must be willing to submit to pre-employment background screening. Requirements: + Aerial/Scissor Lift Certification (training available and reimbursable) + Tools: Tape measure, snips, and an 11-in-1 screwdriver Workplace Type: On-site Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
