Aerotek is hiring Cable Technicians for a project in the downtown Memphis area. This 3 month contract (that could go longer) paying $22/hr. 1st shift 7-3:30pm with overtime as needed. (will consider higher level candidates such as lead, project managers for higher pay depending on experience). ResponsibilitiesSet up and pull low voltage cables.Work on an expansion and new building project.Ensure cables are installed correctly according to specifications.Utilize knowledge of cat5 and cat6 cabling.Operate hand and power tools effectively.Follow safety protocols and maintain a safety-oriented mindset.Essential SkillsProficiency in pulling low voltage cables.Knowledge of cat5 and cat6 cabling.Basic understanding of hand and power tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of experience in a similar role.Experience with fire alarm systems is a plus.Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety practices.Pay and Benefits
