About the opportunity
Nuclear Power Programmes are delivering client critical works to some of our major UK and European Projects. Our embedded teams are delivering support to Hinkley Point C (New build power station in the South West), Sizewell C (located in the South East), helping develop technologies in SMR (Small modular Reactor) capability and working towards building Poland's first Nuclear Power station.
Working in both client facing and internal roles we are delivering major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle. We are driving to deliver safe, high quality and to time solutions by thinking innovatively and working collaboratively.
Amentum are currently recruiting a Cable Routing Engineer who is appointed by the Engineering Director (ED), with the agreement of the relevant Framework Manager to deliver technical support to the Client within their discipline. In your role as Cable Routing Engineer, you will report to the Design Delivery Branch (DDB) Electrical Manager as part of the DDB Electrical Team for the management and surveillance of all cable routing activities. Key responsibilities will be\:
Preparation of cable routing drawings, diagrams and associated technical data related to the associated scopes Support the delivery of the electrical design package activities to ensure systems are delivered safely on time, to budget, meeting business and technical requirements Development of the required models / drawings to support on site works at HPC Address technical queries raised by team members, contractors, and suppliers Supporting organisational learning, helping in the identification, understanding and the effective resolution of events Identify risks and open points and have an appropriate mitigation plan in place.
