The Boeing Global Services' team is searching for a Senior Electrical Systems Design and Analysis Engineer, situated in Long Beach, California. This position will support the C-17 military cargo aircraft operated around the world. The successful candidate has an ability to perform systems integration; create/update wiring diagrams, system schematics, block diagrams; read electrical drawings such as wire harness, equipment installation; and resolve technical problems. The successful candidate will mentor earlier career engineers to further develop the team skills. This position requires someone that is self-motivated and has leadership abilities. C-17 engineering is a customer focused organization and the ability to build strong customer relationships is a must. Looking for a dynamic person that is ready to take on challenging work and provide guidance to teammates. **Position Responsibilities:** + Develops and maintains wiring diagrams, system schematics, and block diagrams + Performs analysis and design reviews + Creates/follows documented processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities + Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection + Supports the sustainment, development, and documentation of aircraft systems, primarily electrical and electro-mechanical system design (will include interacting directly with USAF customer, Field Engineers, and C-17 aircraft) + Performs root cause analysis for field issues, provides corrective actions, and communicates with USAF customer (including presentations) **This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
