Procure materials to support Manufacturing. Includes planning, expediting, resolving supply issues, data analysis and cross functional team representation. This position is onsite.This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. In this Onsite role, you will be responsible for:
Performing complex buying strategies to purchase and arrange timely deliveries of supplies and materials; expedites as needed and serves as liaison between vendors and users, getting prior approval for purchases in excess of established limits.Resolving complex delivery, quality or other related problems with purchases and invoices.Updating project plans and purchasing systems; reviewing and analyzing requisitions and supply plans.Negotiating prices, terms and quality requirements; preparing requests for quotes and assists in the development of new supply sources; evaluating market conditions.Performing value analysis to identify cost improvementsProviding general guidance or training support.Member of cross functional team(s) aiding in the resolution of problems and the transfer of new products into Manufacturing.This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to develop your career with Healthineers

BS / BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent experience.Typically 3-5 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree may be substituted for experience, where applicable.Several years’ experience working with an MRP system, preferably SAP.Competent to Intermediate skill set level in the use of Microsoft Office suite with advanced Excel skills.Must be able to act as a resource to intra-organizational functions not experienced in Materials Management.Must be able to assess change impacts as a result of supplier change notifications and initiate associated change control requirements.Must possess good interpersonal skills.
