Our EMEA Business Service Center (BSC) in Budapest is Eaton’s largest office in the region. **What you’ll do:**
As a Buyer Team Leader you will manage a team of local and remote buyers in Pune and other potential strategical sites including buyer activities for internal or external vendors shipping finished products to our main 3 Distribution Centers in EMEA. You will interact with a variety of different business functions including Suppliers, Strategic & Operational Procurement, Customer Service, Warehouse, Supplier Development and Category Managers, finance, senior management team, IT and PLM globally to ensure effective and timely material availability.
The role will report directly to Manager – Material Planning CoE ES EMEA.
• Act as team leader and stay responsible for 1-2 critical vendors with the highest volume.
• Ensure that your team and you as a leader build up a good relationship and understand the constraints of our external vendors and communicate clearly internally and externally.
• Manage a team of up to 7 tactical and strategical buyers for the main DC's shipments with finished products.
• Align with your peers if your strategy for internal or external vendors fit with the overall strategy with guidelines and being part of execute with simplification and execution strategy.
• Driving just in time deliveries towards receiving plants and improve pro-actively S-OTD with corrective actions and include DC's and Quality Department.
• Working together closely with Network planners/schedulers, ES EMEA Material Planning Manager and PE Manager and affected teams to improve delivery situation.
• Efficiently follow escalation route within the organization and act as 1st level escalation.
• Cooperating with Process Excellence to creating and archive of standard work procedures..
• Managing changing scenarios like seasonality, forecast changes, supply chain changes and deploy the necessary changes.
• Allow and force team work with cross functional members in the team and ensure that the Strategical Planner work according the rules and communicated what is done and which achievements were done.
• Contribute and support implementing new Digital tools defined by Eaton and implement these into our teams.
**Qualifications:**
+ A-Level or comparable. Bachelor's degree in relevant area preferred
+ 1-3 years of experience in a similar team leadership role in the Supply Chain
**Skills:**
+ SAP MM advanced level, MS Office advanced level
+ Project Management, Presentations, Mentoring and Educating
