Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.
+ Knowledge of purchasing and procurement methods and procedures, applicable federal, state, procurement statues, rules, policies, legislation, regulations and guidelines, accounting principles and procedures; e-procurement programs including security access, software programs, contract review, marketing and training.
+ Knowledge of standard specifications for hardware; standard software used on campus; network equipment and telephone equipment.
+ Understanding of maintenance and services for hardware and software.
+ Knowledge of work order ticketing system.
+ Skilled in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from various sources to derive insights and inform decision making, IT products and services, including hardware and software
+ Ability to review and understand rules, regulations, policies, procedures, contracts, documents, manuals, perform arithmetical computations and statistical analysis, prepare reports, communicate effectively; evaluate bids, develop methods and procedures for locating supply sources; maintain a system of record keeping.
+ Must have or be able to attain the CTCD State certification from Texas CPA within 1 year of employment

Job Description
Responsibility for moderately complex acquisitions and procurement activities of hardware, software, and IT services that are less than $100,000 in value utilizing procurement guidelines, rules, policies, and laws.
Please note this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or transfer.
Job Duties
+ Process procurement tickets/work orders for IT Products and services such as hardware, software, network equipment, etc. Using procurement guidelines, rules, policies, and laws.
+ Prepare and review bids and orders to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications.
+ Proactively identify and address any disputes or challenges related to vendor performance, product quality, service delivery, accounting, or invoicing to maintain smooth purchase operations and positive relationships.
+ Appropriately communicate with vendors and stakeholders within a ticketing system to document and maintain a clear and transparent procurement process.
+ Assists with managing and triaging incoming communications for the IT Business Services department, including assisting with overseeing the primary email inbox and responding to inquiries via phone to ensure timely and efficient issue resolution.
