The Buyer Analyst's Responsibilities:

Work safely and courteously, adhering to all Company policies and procedures. Execute day-to-day purchasing tasks, including order placement, supplier negotiations, and inventory management. Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services to meet organizational needs. Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data Lead initiatives to implement changes aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving overall procurement processes. Develop, implement, and maintain Business Intelligence reports to provide insights into materials trends, vendor and manufacturing performance, and other key performance indicators. Work closely with management to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers Utilize data analytics tools to analyze procurement data and generate actionable insights for decision-making. Maintain and update master data related to suppliers, materials, and pricing. Ensure accuracy and completeness of master data, supporting overall data integrity within procurement systems. Analyze supplier contracts and terms to identify potential cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements. Implement strategies to achieve cost reductions without compromising quality or service levels. Thoroughly review supplier invoices for accuracy and compliance with contractual terms. Collaborate with finance and accounts payable teams to resolve any discrepancies and ensure timely payment processing. All duties as assigned.

 

The Buyer Analyst will need:

Required -

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Proven analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SQL. Excellent organizational and communication abilities. Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred - 

3+ years of experience in a procurement or buying role. Experience using procurement software or ERP systems. Related experience within the manufacturing industry.
