Primary contact with suppliers in the areas of supplier performance, engineering change implementation, flow of material, inventory control, and disposition of non-conforming goods on a given commodity team. **YOUR IMPACT** + Execute on select business conducted with suppliers and coordinate internal actions between supplier and the product. + Communicate parts availability issues to appropriate buyer. + Communicate inventory level set ups to PFEP Specialist. + Communicate packaging issues to materials. + Communicate pre paint parts issues to materials, buyer andzone team members. + Createand present purchasing metrics to management. + Participate in lean events. + Assist Operations purchasing on root cause analysis team to fix material shortages and report on critical items. + Ensure smooth cut inof change notices. + Support new model introduction into production area. + Support change in supplier shipping and packaging habits driven by purchasing. + Assist in Kanban implementation to zone for purchased parts. + Create spot buy and blanket orders with suppliers. Manage and maintenance MRP message activities. + Part number setup files under purchasing control.Createdebits memos, andcreditmemos as needed. + Website communication and trainingwith suppliers. + Inventory control activities for material stored at suppliers. + Shortage updates. + Coordinate the proper flow of material into Oshkosh. + Support all procedures for government regulations and publiclaws. + Provide feedback to manufacturing and purchasing management concerning potential problems thatcould affect manufacturing operations. + Ensure purchase order is correct with regard to pricing and delivery. + Ensure order is acknowledged by supplier. + Address and resolve invoice issues. + Support production and aftermarket groups. Communicate effectively with Tactical Buyers. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** + Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering orrelated field + Internship experience **Pay Range:** $50,400.00 - $77,200.00 The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
