Job Title: Buyer Job Description As a Buyer, you will be responsible for analyzing daily purchase component demand from Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) or other systems, processing MRP system-driven demand reports, and issuing purchase orders. You will coordinate with suppliers, expedite shortages, and ensure compliance with sourcing strategies and requirements. Responsibilities + Analyze weekly purchase component demand for Materials Requirement Planning (MRP). + Process MRP system driven demand reports. + Participate in proposal evaluation team on factfinding, technical evaluation and review of strategic options analysis. + Assist with all inventory control activities. + Assist inventory control team with cycle count process, recording results and tracking inventory accuracy. + Review and make required inventory adjustments and assist with follow-up investigation to determine root cause of discrepancies. + Assist with all preparation and execution of annual physical inventory in coordination with the Purchasing & Inventory Control Supervisor. Essential Skills + 1+ years’ experience with ERP & MRP systems highly preferred. + Advanced Excel skills required (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Analysis etc.) + High school diploma or GED required. Degree in Business or related field highly preferred. + 1 – 3 years in a purchasing/inventory control role preferred. + Must be teachable, proactive, and comfortable asking questions! Work Environment This role is based in an office environment and will require some involvement with the manufacturing warehouse, working Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. The team consists of three members, not including the manager. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.63 - $28.85 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
