Join a dynamic team where you will have an immediate impact on our Distribution Center’s performance and customer satisfaction. As a Buyer, you will perform a variety of duties within our supply chain department, contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of our operations.
Responsibilities
+ Place purchase orders with vendors.
+ Research and obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and terms with vendors/suppliers.
+ Communicate with the sales team/customer service department on backorders.
+ Resolve inventory discrepancy issues with vendors.
+ Help maintain ERP system costs.
+ Develop strategies to lower costs on items with vendors.
+ Research alternate vendors to substitute products where needed.
Essential Skills
+ 1-3 years of purchasing experience.
+ Experience with SAP.
+ Supply chain management.
+ Purchasing and inventory management.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment.
+ A bachelor's or associate's degree is preferred but not required if experience is aligned.
+ Ambitious, hardworking, and hands-on candidates.
Work Environment
This position is onsite at our facility in Strongsville. You will be part of a close-knit team within a larger industrial organization.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00/hr.
