Hire Resolve’s client in the food and beverage industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Buyer to join their team in the Western Cape.

Responsibilities

Source and purchase food and beverage products for clients in the industry Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay updated on industry trends Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues that arise Work closely with internal departments to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of products Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to optimize purchasing decisions Analyze supplier performance and make recommendations for improvements

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Proven experience as a Buyer in the Food and Beverage Industry Strong negotiation and communication skills Excellent knowledge of food and beverage products and market trends Proficiency in procurement software and tools Detail-oriented and highly organized Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Must be situated in the Western Cape
