A Day in the Life:

As the Buyer, you develop and execute on the buying process for the Tory Burch Full Price stores in North America for Footwear.

The typical day is… atypical. You will be building the product assortment during markets and identifying future product opportunities, trends, and class-level offerings to drive sales. You will analysis and hindsight weekly, monthly, quarterly, end-of-season business to inform future buying decisions and product action plans.

Throughout the year, you will participate in store visits in key markets to give product knowledge to the field team and gaining understanding of the local market to support future product tiering strategies or opportunities. 

Focus Areas:

• Developing, executing, and communicating product strategies to hit financial targets for the Footwear category

• Training, developing, and retaining a direct report

• Analyzing & hind sighting the business on the weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to inform future buying decisions and product action plans.

• Owning weekly business recaps to explain key stories, recommend actions to drive the business & communicate future opportunities based on current trends.

• Developing strategic assortment buys based on channel and brand strategies along with financial objectives.

• Communicating assortment and buy strategies to Leadership.

• Acting as the subject matter expert in the business needs, while maintaining open communication with cross-functional partners

• Working with the Global Merchandising team to brief North America specific product needs, including exclusives and promotional needs to manage product lifecycle and hit financial goals.

• Partnering with Visual Merchandising during market to influence store execution that supports category strategies. Working with visual in-season to adapt presentations based on current trends.

You will be building effective cross-functional partnerships with team members in Global Merchandising, Planning, Allocations, Visual Merchandising, Marketing and Creative, as as well as the store teams. The consistent thread is that you’ll be working with an amazing team who share your passion for excellence.

To Land This Role:

Bachelor’s Degree, preferredA minimum of 4+ years of buying experience with proven track record with strategic mindset, translating business goals into actionable plans.Footwear experience strongly preferred.Strong presentation skills and Executive presence with ability to influence LeadershipMinimum 2 years managing a direct reportAbility to build and maintain strong cross functional partnerships along with ability to influenceTechnical proficiency in Excel & PPT.

Compensation Range

The compensation range for this position is 90,000.00 USD - 120,000.00 USD. Our offer will be based on your relevant experience and work location.
