The Siemens Industry, Inc. facility in Roebuck, SC, is seeking a Busway Assembly Line Manager. The Busway Assembly Line Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Busway Assembly areas reporting to the Busway Focus Factory Manager. This role ensures the efficient and safe production of Busway products, meeting quality standards, delivery targets, and cost objectives (KPIs). Key responsibilities include supervising a team, fostering interdepartmental cooperation, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with Lean manufacturing principles and company policies. The ideal candidate will possess a continuous improvement mindset and a forward-looking approach.

Responsibilities
Lead and support a team of supervisors, group leaders, and coordinators by managing coverage, mentoring for skill development, overseeing staffing, training, and fostering a positive, safe, and accountable work environment.Drive production performance to meet SQDCI goals by leading Lean initiatives, reviewing schedules, adjusting plans, and optimizing labor assignments to align with customer demands and priorities.Enforce safety standards, address incidents with corrective actions, and ensure compliance through regular audits and monthly safety meetings.Ensure product quality by implementing rigorous standards, addressing issues through audits and corrective actions, and providing employee training on quality standards and error prevention.Drive operational efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvements by leading Continuous Improvement Projects (CIPs), spearheading 5S initiatives, and optimizing workflow, waste reduction, and material flow in the assembly area.Ensure accuracy in SAP transactions for material consumption, order completion, and production scheduling while managing material flow and shortages in collaboration with the Materials and Fabrication Departments.Prepare and present performance reports on production, quality, safety, and cost metrics while ensuring ISO compliance and managing audits.Basic Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.Proven track record of leading production teams and delivering operational results.Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (especially 5S).Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications
Experience and operation knowledge of Busway or similar electrical products.Knowledge of ISO standards and compliance procedures.Experience leading continuous improvement or Lean projects.Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.
