**What would I be doing?** Serves food and beverages to guests in a quick, efficient, and courteous manner. Clean and reset tables with a sense of urgency. **Responsibilities** **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** _(These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position)_ + Bus tables after each course. + Assist the host staff with greeting and seating guests pleasantly, quickly, and efficiently. + Assist other team members in job functions when appropriate. + Communicate problems/situations to management or relief personnel. + Be able to answer the phone properly and take reservations when appropriate. + Must be knowledgeable about and all it has to offer. + Must be aware of business needs, station assignments and breaks + Knowledge of safety procedures + Remove debris (i.e., napkins, straw wrappers, and other materials) from the floor as required or necessary. + Always monitor door to insure prompt seating of guests. + Responsible for cleanliness of all restaurant. + Adhere to all prescribed Service Standards and Service Sequence. + Must be able to handle “guest recovery” situations. + Bus tables at conclusion of guests leaving by wiping the entire table, chairs, and booth seats.
