Business Technology Analyst, Specialist

We are currently seeking a Business Technology Analyst passionate about value delivery and driving outcomes for our Durable Product Team (DPT) in Finance Technology (FinTech). Our team supports Billing & Receivables, Treasury, and Global Travel and Expense, using Agile methodologies to prioritize work. Partnering with Global Process Owners (GPOs) and Business Sponsors, we focus on the right outcomes and drive the strategic roadmap for their technology domain. 

As a Business Technology Analyst, you will handle Revport, ASC, Trovata, Concur, and AppZen software, along with Oracle Cash Management and Accounts Receivable modules. Your responsibilities will include enabling flexible, rules-based fee calculations and invoice distribution, ensuring accurate and timely billing, supporting key treasury products and banking updates, and handling Global Travel and Expense. Additionally, you will provide key inputs to financial statements and SOX compliance. This role will offer many opportunities to grow your finance acumen, regardless of previous experience. 

Responsibilities:

Analyze business and user needs and document requirements. Develop moderately complex information systems and advise on the business implications of applying technology to the current business environment. 

Translate client requirements into functional documentation. Formulate and define the system's scope and objectives based on user needs and business processes. 

Advise on business process improvement projects for internal business groups, aiming to improve business results. Lead the design and testing of new or enhanced applications. 

Lead the implementation of systems and software. Identify and document all system constraints, implications, and consequences of various proposed system changes. Provide recommendations for addressing and resolving business issues. 

Perform user support processes and activities for the implementation of new or existing applications. Lead the collection, documentation, and maintenance of functional requirements and modeling. 

Guide and advise less experienced team members. 

Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

Five (5) years’ experience working in a similar role within a financial institution or related is required. 

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. 

Exhibits strong technical aptitude to learn and build data related acumen (data validation processes, flows and governance) using data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, OAC). 

Demonstrates Independence and deep product and technical knowledge to solve business problems. 

Employs exceptional stakeholder management (influence, persuasion, communication, and change management. 

Strategic agility in support of driving outcomes, including strong conceptual thinking and decision quality

Risk mentality in support of driving outcomes, including managing complexity to solve problems

Collaboration and inclusion in support of cultivating differences

Growth mindset in support of being candid, including seeking new ways to be challenged, gaining new skills, and making the most of development resources
