The individual will work for the BSI Fulfillment Solutions team (Distribution, Logistics and Ordering systems) providing Tier 2 support for our blood product ordering, logistics and fulfillment systems (i.e. Transportation Management Systems “TMS”, BloodHub customer ordering system “Connect”, etc.) and will interface between the business unit & BSI team. The Business Applications Analyst role requires you to be a natural problem-solver with strong analytical capabilities and verbal and written communication skills. Therefore, you are an innovative, solution-minded professional who can easily acquire new business acumen, enjoys technology and systems, and are passionate about getting it right. You can work independently and efficiently with little supervision. And lastly, you are a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, a keen attention to detail and solid writing skills. **WORK LOCATION & SCHEDULE: The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home anywhere in the USA working as work an East Coast schedule. (Core Working Hours 8:00am-5:00pm Eastern)** **WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):** • Provide Tier II application support for the Biomedical Services suite of Fulfillment, Ordering and Logistics systems (Hospital Orders. Product Transportation from Red Cross to Customers, etc.) • Work directly with internal and external customers. Receive, document, track user questions and/or problems. Be able to investigate and troubleshoot issues (strong critical thinking) • Assure timely response to questions and concerns. • Research questions, identify root cause, and resolve items with end users. • Escalate items as required to Tier 3 team (application SMEs) i.e., bugs or enhancement requests. • Develop and maintain a knowledge of library of frequently asked questions to assist users with common issues during deployment. • Will analyze system data to drive system performance improvement decisions. Responsible for ensuring accuracy of data quality within the systems. Pro-actively review data for inconsistencies, errors or omissions. _Scope: Individual contributor that works under limited supervision. Apply subject matter knowledge. The American Red Cross does not sponsor employment visas._ **_WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (required/minimum qualifications):_** • Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience using fulfillment systems required. • Experience with logistics (TMS), distribution (eProgesa) and ordering (Connect) software systems. • Experience with SmartSolve highly desirable. • Blood banking knowledge highly desirable. • Proficient with MS Excel including pivot tables. Any experience with charts, graphs and PowerBI reporting highly desirable. • Must be comfortable working independently with little supervision and able to learn new systems quickly. • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written). • Ability to work independently or as a part of team and comfortable working remote as required. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed.
