The MiChart Emergency Department application team (ASAP) seeks a Healthcare/IT Professional as primary support for Epic ASAP build and workflows.

Responsibilities*

The Business Analyst Senior will need to be proficient with EPIC configuration, and obtain proficiency in ASAP if certification is in other EPIC applications.

Necessary skills and qualities for successful Business Analyst Seniors include:

Under minimum supervision, is responsible for the planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of clinical system(s) to support patient care delivery.Significant experience with leading meetings, prioritizing, resolving conflicts, maintaining issues lists, and managing a project plan.Performs in-depth analysis of department and end user business needs, documentation of requirements, and translation of requirements into proper system specifications.The ability to probe for information about the underlying needs of the organization and user community, which directly influences how the system will be builtFamiliarity with Joint Commission, and other health care compliance regulations and agencies as it pertains to the electronic medical recordEffectively collaborates with nurses, physicians and other clinician users to ensure enterprise, organization and project goals are met.Strong communication and follow-up skillsParticipates in all activities with interrelated teams including project management, testing, support, training, technical, and interface teams. Under minimum supervision, participates in system upgrades. With supervision, is responsible for the planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of clinical system(s) to support patient care delivery.Some experience with leading meetings, prioritizing, resolving conflicts, maintaining issues lists, and managing a project plan.Performs in-depth analysis of department and end user business needs, documentation of requirements, and translation of requirements into proper system specifications utilizing their clinical background.The ability to probe for information about the underlying needs of the organization and user community, which directly influences how the system will be built.Familiarity with Joint Commission, and other health care compliance regulations and agencies as it pertains to the electronic medical record.
