Business Systems Analyst II (Hybrid - Raleigh, NC)
Overview This is a hybrid role in Raleigh, North Caroline, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office. This position is responsible for providing advanced technical and operational business system support. Performs needs assessments to determine business requirements, and implements functional specifications to assigned systems. Ensures that developed solutions support Bank objectives through reporting and analysis activities. May involve elements of system testing or development. May occasionally guide less experienced analysts in the work group. Responsibilities Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output. System Support - Provides daily technical support for systems by responding to inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Assists in implementing recommended modifications and enhancements. May serve as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units. Identifying Requirements - Determines system requirements and communicates them through the use of specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Ensures compliance through monitoring and analysis. Create and/or update source to target mapping documentation based on system requirements. Reporting - Produces reports based on data analysis, user input, and system testing. Identifies patterns, discrepancies, and areas of improvement. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support Preferred skills and experience: Knowledge of core banking platforms (deposits, loans, customer/MDM) Develops and interprets basic to moderately complex SQL statements in DB2 and Netezza SAS programming and data analysis (SAS 9.4, Enterprise Guide) Experience using an enterprise job scheduling tool in a distributed environment Knowledge building and interpreting dimensional database models DbVisualizer (or equivalent SQL query tool) Experience analyzing, testing, documenting and implementing projects of small to medium complexity Knowledge of System Life Cycle Development and Agile Methodologies Solid verbal and written communications skills Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
