What you will doAs a Solution Engineer, you will work closely with digital product managers, solution engineers, UX designers, data analysts and stakeholders, to continuously improve our products and the user experience. You will take ownership of the digital product and as a champion of the product vision you and your team, will turn the roadmap into deliverables and secure the alignment with the overall product strategy and product vision. You are a member of a stable team and are responsible for managing the team backlog prioritization and delivery.
You will take take responsibilities in the following areas:
Work to understand full solution capability and functionality
Interact closely with business stakeholders, across multiple departments and countries
Analyse and structure business requirements to understand and propose solutions in line with system capabilities
Support the solution/system development process by providing business and technical best practices
Support release management, ensuring proper communication and full testing of changes
Validate the functional and technical specifications and test cases
Perform change management activities and prioritization of changes
Recommend metrics to measure the performance of the solution in run-time (operation)
Assess and make configuration changes on solution/system
Identify opportunities for solution/system improvement, creating customer value
Provide expertise and knowledge in business capabilities, functional analysis, process flows and mapping with applications, group of applications, or applications sub-portfolios
Support project teams with the implementation of solutions
Oversee managed services of solutions and applications in different markets globally
Facilitate and chair meetings and workshops on solutions/applications
Author presentations, spreadsheets, reports, and instructional material on solution’s functionalities
Participate in projects regarding systems development or acquisition, deployment, and rollout

You will report directly to the Chapter Lead, Solution Engineering. Digital and IT is the engine of the VFS business, and in this exciting environment, we are focused on Digital Innovation to meet the demands of our customers in an increasingly digitalized world.

Qualifications likely required to be successful in this role include:
• Bachelor’s degree, specialized diploma, or equivalent experience in Business Analysis or Finance preferred
• 5+ years’ experience designing solutions, able to understand business needs and translate them into user stories, functional and technical specifications, demonstrating strong knowledge and experience in requirements breakdown, prioritization, and classification
• 5+ years’ experience working as analyst in IT projects for financial services companies
• The ability to facilitate modelling and analysis of business processes and operations from a requirements management perspective or design concepts for products (processes, services or systems)
• The skills to identify risks and impacts regarding the functional solution from a business analysis perspective to propose changes in business processes, IT implementations and/or operations when necessary
• Strong problem-solving skills, identifying, structuring, monitoring, and delivering results
• Strong planning and analytical skills
• Strong people skills, building and maintaining good relationships with stakeholders and teamwork
• Advanced level of English (oral/written)
• Proficient knowledge of financial services and regulated markets is a plus
• Good knowledge of processes in Asset Finance, Credit Management, Collections Management, Repossession / Inventory Management, Document Management is a plus
