Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Sustains an up-to-date knowledge of policies and procedures related to funding, compliance, p-cards, travel, personnel, purchasing, etc; routinely communicates with all functional areas of OneIT by delivering clear, accurate, and timely information; and provides policy interpretation and guidance supported by citation and links.
+ Serves as divisional resource for travel and student/temporary employment.
+ Uses a high level of attention to detail for multilayered business processing, records management, and reporting.
+ Takes initiative in leveraging skills, creativity, and sound judgment to develop solutions and/or recommend positive procedural actions or changes.
+ Manages the workflow and processing of business forms, assigns appropriate funding, reconciles expenses, and researches/resolves post-audit issues.
+ Applies an in-depth knowledge of policies and procedures for the day-to-day financial management of OneIT’s portfolio of diverse funding sources, comprised of state, E&T, auxiliary, and trust funds.
+ Monitors budgets, identifies issues, and researches information to clarify, resolve problems, or manage change.
+ Resolves customer and vendor questions/discrepancies and coordination with OneIT management, vendors, Disbursements, Payroll, Student Employment, and Purchasing are essential in this role.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
University Preferred Qualifications:
Four-year degree in a related business function and two or more years of experience in accounts reconciliation, business processing, office management, or human resources; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree.
+ Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills (e.g. functions, formulas, pivot tables).
+ Higher Education experience with working knowledge of relevant university systems such as Banner, Perceptive Content, and 49er Mart/ JAGGAER for e-procurement.
+ Experience with accounting, personnel, or travel.
