Business Risk Sr. Manager - VP (Hybrid)
**Overview:** The **Business Risk Sr. Manager - VP** is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and is accountable to be a professional member of the Securities Services Operations Risk and Control Team. Requires basic commercial awareness of Securities Services Business. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Expected to support and lead on other key initiatives within the Securities Services Operations Business Controls and Execution team. **Responsibilities:** + Applies understanding of the Securities Services business impact of technical contributions. Requires basic commercial awareness of Securities Services Business. + Assist with the identification, evaluation, monitoring, and mitigation of operational risks; and proactively suggest improvements/ monitoring remediation actions to ensure appropriate actions are taken to mitigate control weaknesses. + Conducting deep-dives and Targeted Risk Assessments of areas of processes of concern. + Develop and implement RCSA, KRIs, Issues Management, and Incident Reporting. + Work with the team to identify, assess, escalate, and manage risk exposures across Risk Categories (Operational Compliance, Strategic, Reputational, etc.), including material, emerging and concentration risks in accordance with enterprise Policies and the establishment of Key Indicators to monitor risk exposures. + Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding **Citigroup** , its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards. **Qualifications:** + 6-10 years’ experience in management, risk management and/or regulatory compliance in one or more of the following risk disciplines: technology risk, business continuity, operational risk, supplier risk, or audit and controls. Demonstrates knowledge of in-scope business and product areas. + Project management and governance experience with demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed critical milestones. + Must have outstanding communication, and influencing skills as this leader will work with Sr. leaders, and audit partners on a regular basis. + Ability to foster working relationships with other leaders across multiple lines of business and with support organizations, including auditors and regulators. + Demonstrated judgement and critical thinking skills. **Education:** + Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience. ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family Group:** Risk Management ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family:** Business Risk & Control ------------------------------------------------------ **Time Type:** Full time ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location:** Columbus Ohio United States ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:** $107,120.00 - $160,680.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
