Core Tasks include:

 

Evaluation of innovative industry- and technology- trends and development of corresponding industry process- and solution-maps. Support for internal strategic portfolio planning. Enforcement of industry-specific service-offerings. Detailed design of industry-specific / corporate customer processes.  Identification of enterprise services. Proposal of software-decisions (SAP-/Non-SAP-products) within the customer Process-, Application- and IT-landscape based on BPP. Mapping of business process to enterprise IT-architecture. Define requirements for individual development or integration needs. Performance of reviews (process oriented and  relation to IT-mapping). Define  corresponding  organizational structure. Map and validate performance indicators (designed by Transf. Manager). Implementation of designed processes.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

 

As Global CoE organization we focus on SAPs top customers under the umbrella of Premium Engagement contracts (like Select, MaxAttention, Active Attention, Value Assurance, …). The key objective is to establish and manage long-term engagement relations between the customer and SAP along all LACE phases. We are achieving this through a pro-active and holistic engagement approach specific for premium delivery. The engagement approach makes sure that we address the specifics of each LACE phase to identify innovation potential, plan the solution design+transformation, provide advisory and safeguard the execution+operation. By doing so, we increase the customer lifetime value, improve the customer satisfaction, foster the successful adoption of SAP Solutions and protect the SAP Brand. Key Responsibilities & Tasks The CoE Associate is the entry in CoE delivery. Key focus in this role is to build technical and application knowledge in a specific area and to familiarize with our delivery methodologies. With this knowledge the CoE Associate acts as part of a delivery or development team. The CoE Associate… • Familiarizes with our portfolio and support Virtual Project Room, Front office and Solutioning in the positioning of standard services in the area of expertise • Executes defined tasks in the team related to a single technical component or business process step and contribute to the overall value generated by the delivery team • Analyzes standard issues with limited complexity within general work direction and clearly defined framework of departmental / functional guidelines and practices • Collects customer feedback and communicates to relevant teams to improve service procedure and SAP products • Supports the resolution of critical customer situations, production downs and escalations

 

Job Tasks and Roles

The CoE Associate contributes with the following tasks to the key responsibilities: Delivering engagements: • Delivers the assigned tasks with the support of the team • Actively seeks for direction for complex/new aspects of their work • Delivers as team member in defined LACE phases covering technical or functional topics • Analyzes functional, technology and operational risks and execute necessary mitigation steps with limited complexity related to a technical component or business process step • Learns to optimize single business processes steps • Starts to contribute to the realization of prototypes using latest technologies • Learns to analyze integration topics like user integration, system integration and process integration and ensure data consistency, performance, and exception management • Executes specific best practices and can utilize expert tools in delivery • Learns to deliver services as functional/technical expert Fulfilling back-office functions: • Provides administrative or support functions within the virtual project room • Learns to explain portfolio and services to customer, sales and solutioning • Scopes standard service requests related to the area of expertise • Starts to work as technical or functional support and participates in weekend support activities • Delivers standard root cause analysis using tools and works out solution proposals Improving SAP capabilities: • Contributes to internal service development projects • Contributes to trainings, specifications, and documentation creation • Reports errors to development organizations • Participates in development projects executed in collaboration with other team members • Understands and develops assigned request from projects

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

 

0-3 years’ working experience in a professional setting, with SAP applications experience would be a plus Bachelor’s degree or above with major in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines; with business application knowledge or experience in such as finance and logistics would be a plus Excellent communication skills in English, with German language skills would be a plus Have a global mindset with the flexibility to work abroad, able to thrive in a complex and constantly changing environment Team player with ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks Resourceful self-starters with strong interpersonal skills who are eager learners Openness towards new emerging technologies with a 'Can Do' attitude Customer-centric individuals who enjoy helping others to achieve their objectives and outcomes Willing to take domestica and international travel (expected commitment 30%-70%)
