The Business Planning Specialist is responsible for the evaluation, analysis and processing of pricing requests, bids & opportunities for US Based End Users, Resellers, LATAM Partners, Sharp dealers and SBS branches. Manages the strategy and communications of pricing directions and decisions for Sharp’s B2B business. Develops pricing and relevant files for bids and RFQs consistent with the company’s goals and philosophies.
Responsibilities Evaluates bids submitted by potential customers to determine terms, conditions, and specifications. Investigates and makes recommendations on product requirements within bid.Conducts a financial analysis regarding the bid.Coordinates Sharp’s bid response with the Sr. Director of Business Planning and Development.Prepare ad-hoc reporting for bid pricing to VP of Sales as needed. Investigates and analyzes pricing results by product to determine trends. Responsible for compiling data to generate weekly Sales Out reporting from US and LATAM based Distributors. Provides support in the creation of Part numbers in SAP including contract pricing. Works closely with PSI and Finance team to provide Bid Pricing and Costs for all accounts included in Monthly PSI files. On a quarterly basis, perform analysis on changes in costs received from Japan and the impact to our customers and bids processed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree highly preferred, relevant work experience considered.Relevant business experience in pricing preferred, office technology market experience highly preferred.Strong analytical abilities required. Compensation for this position
The compensation range for this role is $53,175-89,800. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
