This position must provide the overall daily functional accounting, communications and documentation requirements of the Assisted Living Community financial and personnel records while insuring confidentiality of all resident’s and personnel records.  This position will respond and act in the absence of the Administrator/ Executive Director.

Responsibilities

Cost of Care:

 Pre-Admission financial verification and explainations to responsible part/resident of the process for payments PFRAdding new admissionsUpdating as payments/rate increases are madeUpdating comment sectionRemoving residents that are dischargedInvoicesAnnual 3% IncreaseDepositsPreparing and reconciling accountsUploading Information into FilezillaSchedule responsible party meetings regarding past due acountsPast due payment agreement formSmall Claims CourtSocial Security Audit point of contactDepartment of Social Servces Medicaid Specialist point of contactUpdating DSS with anual FL-2 and any other information pertaining to SA/MedicaidPoint of Contact for TA Receivables RepresentativeSubmit refund request within 24 hours of discharge

Personal Funds:

Review with responsible party/resident at admission and obtain permission to manage personal fundsReconciling monthly bank statementBalancing Personal Funds MonthlyReplinish cash on hand and balance cash on hand weekly with Receptionist

Payroll:

Add new hires in RepliconRemove Terminated employeesDaily correction of punchesSubmit payrollManaging daily budgeted hours-reporting to Administrator daily the reasons for being over budgeted hoursSubmit daily corrected punch report to Reginal and Administrator Payroll changesPoint of Contact fot VSC Payroll RepresentativeESC ClaimsSubmit administrator approved vacation request to VSC Payroll Representative and add final approved vacation days to employees payrollFMLA Qualifications

 

Must possess a High School Diploma or GED- Prefer some College and/or clerical experienceMust be able to read, write, understand and follow directionsMust possess good written and verbal communication skillsMust possess good computer skills and be able to work with Microsoft office, including development of excel spreadsheetsMust possess good financial understanding of Accounts Receivables/Payables, balancing checkbooks, etcMust possess good Human Resource understandingMust possess proven Customer Service skills and experienceMust have a clear SBI and DMV record and maintain them during period of employmentMust not have substantiated findings on the NC Health Care Personnel RegistryMust possess knowledge of or be willing to learn the NC DHSR  Adult Care  Home Rules and RegulationsMust possess or be willing to obtain NC Adult Care Home Medication Aide Certification within 90 days of hireMust be CPR certified or obtain within 90 days of hire

Must have a valid NC Driver's License.

 

Must have had at least 8 years of driving experience, as this is a requirement of company's liability insurance carrier.
