Business Manager (SONIVA)

Role purpose

Manage and drive the Division P&L (in terms of Volume, Revenue and Margins); and NPI as a percentage of Sales

Identify new areas of growth, evaluates alternate business models to drive future growth.Manage Division Cost, Efficiency of processes including Sales returns and collections.Lead team of Business Managers, execute sales campaigns and ensure achievement of agreed sales targets in accordance with the strategies and objectives set for the division.Develop and maintain a high-performing sales organization.Contribute to the optimizations and selective alignment of Syngenta commercial policies and price structures.Assume external relationship responsibilities for the division with local regulators and industry stakeholders.

Accountabilities

Ensure all aspects of the business operate smoothly Provide required support and guidelines to the sales team and make sure they achieve business objectives Increase business contribution and profitability through better forecasting and new product introduction Investigate new business opportunities and enhance the distribution networkIdentify the customer segmentation and address their requirement with the right solution Coach and motivate team members  Assess company progress, sales and marketing successes and compile monthly reports   

Transition accountabilities

Put in place the necessary activities to ensure business continuity with the organization structure.Work with Marketing, Supply and Trialing to develop effective governance and ways of working at the critical interfaces.Support the development of a change plan taking into account employee engagement, team development and customer connection in the new org set up.

Critical experience

Proven track record in in sales and sales management (minimum 7 years)Proven leadership skills and line management experienceProven track record in being a good team player and team management skillsStrong ability to understand customer needs, structure and business drivers
