Job Description

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for agriculture and a business development mindset? We are seeking a Business Manager to oversee and grow on of our key agricultural portfolios. In this role, you will drive the performance of diverse agricultural key accounts, ensuring profitability, sustainability, and operational excellence. You will work closely with farmers, suppliers, and other key stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, streamline operations, and implement innovative business strategies that align with the evolving agricultural landscape. Position Purpose

To manage a portfolio of Agricultural clients allocated, implement action plans and objectives ensuring that revenue, volume, profitability and customer service objectives are achieved.  To initiate and lead in the development process of identified opportunities across all agricultural products and ensure that each client is supported at the specified standard.

Key Accountabilities

New and existing business development by actively identifying new business opportunities in all market sectors for all product ranges, namely Pallets, RPCs, IBCs and Bulk BinsImplement strategies and plans for development of new business / growth opportunities as well as lead and participate in new business projects.Customer Relationship management, assisting in and conducting rate negotiations when and where necessaryEffective stakeholder engagement with various customers including big retail businesses as well as family run establishments

Key Requirements

MatricBachelor's Degree (Preferably B. Com)5 Years Key Account Management/Sales/ Marketing experience in a Technical Sales environment

Skills & Knowledge

Knowledge of distribution/logistics methodologiesEffective portfolio management experienceComputer skillsMust be a self-starter who has a strong customer service orientation, can work independentlyMust be courteous and polite in written and oral communication.Valid driver's license
