Business Intelligence Manager
Business Intelligence Manager Job Description: We are seeking a manager to join the growing Global Routes to Revenue (“RTR”) Performance and Planning team. The RTR team is responsible for GTM design, developing commercial models, revenue planning and creating an analytical framework to measure GTM performance. Reporting into the Senior Business Intelligence Manager of GTM Performance & Analytics, this role is critical with respect to driving deep dive analytical investigations and providing insights to shape commercial model decisions. A successful candidate will be passionate about cross-functional collaboration and project delivery as well as analyzing, interpreting and understanding large operational datasets in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. In addition, the successful candidate will be able to communicate implications and hypotheses with business stakeholders at all levels. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of analytical and BI tools. We look for candidates who have some pre-existing expertise and supplement this with in-house training and experience to develop professionals of the highest caliber, who can bridge the gap between commercial drivers in finance, marketing, and operations, with data and analytics. This position will have a hybrid schedule with 3 days working in the Lawrenceville or Atlanta office and 2 days working from home. Key Responsibilities: • Work closely with stakeholders across the business and analysts in local regional Commercial Operations teams to produce high quality analyses that drive actionable insights • Drive complex deep dive investigations that clearly define the problem, the solution, and methodology to inform key stakeholder decision making • Communicate findings, insights, and results in a clear, concise, and effective manner to senior management • Dive into areas of the business and conduct root cause analysis and support senior leaders to effect change where required • Ownership of ad-hoc analytics projects to inform commercial model decisions, helping senior stakeholders in driving GTM strategy, along with maintaining the pipeline of these ad-hoc projects and tracking progress • Establish strong relationships with and become a key advisor to Sage’s GTM executives • Support, coach and mentor junior members of the team • Work effectively in diverse teams with an inclusive team culture where people are recognized for their contribution and support each other to learn and prosper Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields. • 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing BI or analytics teams. • Capability to align BI strategies with business goals and identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to gather requirements in a cross functional environment • Ability to lead and mentor a team of analysts, developers, and data professional • Ability to clearly communicate findings to key stakeholders in a succinct manner • Expertise in visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI with strong ability in creating dashboards and reporting • High proficiency in SQL, Advanced Excel, and data driven story telling • Experience in B2B Marketing Funnel Analytics a plus.
