WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
In this role, you will own the relationship with senior leaders across Sales and Marketing to drive analytical insight into business actions. We are looking for a smart and passionate individual to join our Business Analytics team. As a Business Intelligence Manager, you will own the delivery of actionable insights to inform data-driven decisions on sales & marketing strategy, and increase efficiency of our go-to-market operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will help deliver a world class stakeholder experience by owning data requests from our go-to-market teams (sales and marketing organization) You will use analytics to answer questions about how our customers are buying our product, with the goal of improving sales, product adoption, and marketing ROI. You will own the roadmap and data integrity of our go-to-market insights reporting, identifying opportunities to build new dashboards and self-serve resources with the end goal of increasing data consumption and efficiency. You will test your ideas. This includes 1) performing analytical deep-dives to identify problems, opportunities and actions required; 2) leveraging large amounts of disparate data sources by using SQL/Tableau and/or other scripting and statistical tools, and 3) designing and managing test/pilot programs. You will work cross-functionally with data engineers, product engineerings, and business stakeholders to ensure we're delivering quality insights to the business.

WHO YOU ARE

You're a "business thought partner" with a strong analytical mindset and enjoy finding ways to improve the business. It just so happens that you use data analytics as the tool to prove that your suggestions are the right ones.  Your analytics skills are strong, including 5+ years of experience in an analytics role. You have experience with SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, Looker, Domo, etc.), and have a thorough understanding of data warehousing concepts. Experience with ETL and ROI data modeling will be an added value. You've proven yourself as a trusted business partner. You've got excellent communication skills and can translate between technical and functional requirements.  You have experience working with business stakeholders to clarify questions and prioritize asks.  Your business judgment is strong.  You've got the ability to take ambiguous business problems and solve them in a structured, hypothesis-driven, data-supported way. Strategy consulting experience or other client-facing professional services experience is a strong plus. You've got a strong education. You have a Bachelor's in an analytical field (statistics, computer science, etc.)
