We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Growth Strategy and Insights team within Customer Success. This role will focus on driving business intelligence to enable reactive and pre-emptive insights critical to driving retention and growth.
Responsibilities
As a business analyst, you are responsible for providing analytical expertise to support key strategic and operational initiatives in partnership with various data engineering, science, and analytics teams across the company. Analysts use a range of statistical methods, algorithms, and analysis techniques to surface insights and advise business leaders on strategy and identify opportunities to optimize business processes, customer experiences, and offerings.
Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using PowerBI
Design and implement visually engaging and interactive dashboards that tell a clear and compelling story
Ensure best practices in PowerBI design and development to create intuitive and user-friendly reports
Stay updated with the latest features and capabilities of PowerBI to leverage its full potential
You will work closely with business stakeholders to distill your analysis into actionable insights and recommendations
Support business stakeholders with in-depth analysis, insights, and recommended actions, continually mining for insights to help inform strategic roadmaps
Conduct research from problem definition through execution of analysis. Highlight potential areas of concern in partnership with the Growth Strategy & Insights team
Assess impact of business strategies and provide clear articulation of analysis to support decision-making for senior management
Execute sophisticated qualitative and quantitative analyses, including advanced modeling, which translate raw data into insights that can be converted into actionable recommendations and built into reports and dashboards
Act as the data subject matter expert for the area of the business you support – understanding dataset structure, data quality, and appropriate analysis use cases
Understand existing metrics and data models and identify and document areas for improvement to contribute to the overall Autodesk data infrastructure
Minimum Qualifications
5+ Years Relevant Work Experience in a SAAS company
Knowledge about SAAS business model and KPI’s
Preference to experience in retention and expansion analytics
Experience with statistical analysis software
Strong experience with SQL and accessing various cloud data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake)
Strong experience with BI / Data Visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI)
Proficiency in designing aesthetically pleasing and interactive dashboards
Ability to create engaging data stories and visualizations
Expertise in leveraging PowerBI features to drive insightful and actionable business intelligence
Strong experience with presenting data and storytelling tools (e.g. PowerPoint)
Python experience is a plus
Experience supporting Financial, Support, Customer Success, Customer Service, or Renewals organizations is a plus
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, technical expertise on various data mining & exploration technologies, and the ability to work across our organization to inspire action
A deep understanding of data storytelling, design aesthetics, and the ability to create compelling and insightful PowerBI dashboards is essential
