Job Summary:

The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a key role in the organization's data-driven decision-making processes. The BI Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver data solutions that support strategic initiatives.


Principal Responsibilities:

Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational/central databases.Translate complex data analyses into clear and actionable visualizations.Gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards using Power BI.Create ad-hoc queries and reports to support specific business needs.Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analyses and reports.Work closely with business units to understand their data needs and requirements.Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.Stay current with the latest BI technologies, tools, and best practices.Good knowledge of Microsoft SSRS and Power BIOther duties as assigned.

Job Level Specifications:

Foundational knowledge of specialized disciplines, industry practices and standards, acquired via academic instruction and/or relevant work experience of substantially the same level.Develops solutions to defined tasks, typical assignments and projects. May be solved by the application of specialized foundational knowledge, using existing approaches and solutions.Work is usually performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion. Receives initial direction although work may be reviewed for accuracy and quality.Collaborates with immediate management and team members within the department or function.Actions typically affect own work assignments and department. Erroneous decisions or failure to accomplish work may require some assistance or resources to remedy.

Work Experience:

Typically less than 2 years with bachelor's or equivalent.


Education and Certification(s):

Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (B.E., B.Tech or MCA).Proven experience as a BI Analyst or in a similar role.Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., MSBI, Power BI).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Knowledge of SQL and data modeling.Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
