Successful candidates in this role will provide senior level consulting services to USG managers to assist them in the management of a large working capital fund that supports various business enterprises and their product lines. This position is located in Chantilly, VA. **Your future duties and responsibilities:** Consultants with be assisting with: • Strategic Planning • Budgeting • Financial Accounting Analysis • Financial Reporting • Policy Formulation • Training • Benchmarking • Communications • Business Process Improvement **Required qualifications to be successful in this role:** • An Industrial Security Staff Approval/Top Secret (ISSA/TS) clearance with polygraph. • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related business/financial management field. • A minimum of 5 years of work experience with qualifications in one or more of the following areas: o Certified Public Accountant (CPA). o Financial consulting services with a federal working capital fund. o Federal financial statement analysis, auditing and/or preparation. o Analyzing and resolving complex accounting issues. o Working with and briefing senior program managers. o Supporting financial information technology systems. o Improving Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E) data integrity, internal controls, and financial reporting of PP&E and Inventory and Related Property (I&RP) o Familiarity and/or expertise with lease evaluation and recording under Statements on Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS) 54 o Leading and implementing process redesign and new policies/procedures to improve efficiencies and business operations related to financial reporting. o Service Level Agreements (SLA) compliance guidance and/or training, applying statues, regulations, policies, and GAO Red Book guidance to remediation of non-compliant SLAs, ability to define controls to safeguard the organization from Bona Fide Needs Rule statutory compliance failures. o Data Analytics and Visualization. o Expertise with Microsoft Excel and macros and/or comparable technology/software. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $214,800.00.
