About The Role

The role involves leading strategic reengineering and transformation initiatives with a strong focus on technical and engineering capabilities. The candidate will be responsible for stakeholder engagement, managing change, and upholding engineering standards. They will proactively identify and address problem areas within the bank, support and upskill engineers, and drive service health by establishing baselines and improving end-to-end client journeys.

Our Ideal candidate At least 10 years of experience in business improvement, business engineering, or a related field Experience in Six Sigma, Lean, TOC, Business Improvement, Agile Capable of managing and leading engineers, ensuring peer reviews, supporting design, and driving change. Ability to proactively identify problem areas or process issues within the bank and support engineers to solve them. Strong focus on technical and engineering capabilities, with a deep understanding of business engineering techniques and methodologies Knowledge of product health and service health concepts, and the ability to drive these initiatives. Familiarity with establishing and upholding standards in a centre of mastery.  Minimum Education Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational A relevant tertiary degree in engineering such as Industrial Engineering Skills Excellent people management and leadership skills. Strong communication and decision-making skills. Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate effectively. Strong problem-solving and researching skills. Conditions of Employment Clear criminal and credit record
