Your role and responsibilitiesAs the Business Development & Sales Manager for Wind Offshore Energy industry, you will be responsible for driving major Wind Offshore pursuits with account management principle within the organizational and functional guidelines, to secure orders and achieve order booking targets. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and love working on complex projects pursuit, Developing Projects, Driving sales of Wind Offshotre solution to ABB customers. The primary focus of this role will be to work with the sales organization in identifying & early engaging customer (EPC, Owners, developers) for pursuing large Wind Offshore Project and secure the project. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you need to act as enablers to address the customer needs for major Wind Offshore accounts and stay coordinated internally within organization. The position is based in Taiwan. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tTaking charge as Business Development & Sales Manager to develop projects, Drive solutions , customer base and customer needs in Wind Offshore Industry.•\tTaking responsibility to deliver order intake for Wind Offshore Segment.•\tManaging relationships with customers within Wind Offshore segment to achieve sales targets.•\tResponsible as a lead for each major pursuit in providing technical solutions for Integrated Electrical, Automation & Telecom Solution with back-office support from technical support / proposal team.•\tIdentifying and implement key strategies in winning a project including proper selection of vendors.•\tFollowing business governance & control guideline and taking lead for seeking approval of large bids as per defined procedure.•\tManaging tender costing, commercial terms & conditions and involve in negotiation with both customers and vendors to achieve optimal result.
Qualifications for the role\tAt least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in Utility , Wind Offshore, Oil & Gas Industry with at least 5 years of front- end sales experience.\tStrong know-how & proven experience of Wind Offshore Project.\tDegree in Engineering (Electrical / Automation).\tKnowledge of commercial and legal terms and project risk management.\tAble to communicate effectively (both verbal and written), customer oriented, negotiate, persuasive, possess professional attitude and good team spirit.\tEnjoy working in a wide variety of cultures and in many different sectors\tMotivated & Self driven individual\tGood spoken and written communication skills in English.
