Business Development Representative
Caring Transitions of Salt Lake is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) with a passion for the senior community and a talent for sales. This role is not just about numbers; it's about building meaningful relationships and supporting our mission to ease the challenges faced by seniors as they transition to a new home.  This is an exciting opportunity to start with a newly opened office in the Salt Lake area and help grow the business. The positions will start out as part-time and will grow to a full-time position. We Need You if You Have: + At least 2 years of proven sales experience (including cold calls), preferably in the senior space. + Strong communication and public speaking skills. Comfortable with phone, Zoom, and in-person interactions. + Familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). + A drive to connect, build, and nurture relationships. + A compassionate approach and a dedication to making a difference in the lives of seniors, their families, and the community. + Must be able to provide own reliable transportation to sales calls. What will the Role Entail: + Cold calling Referral partners and setting up Consultations. + Creating a strategy for tracking and closing opportunities. + Identify and develop new business opportunities. + Willingness to attend networking events confidently promote our services. Responsibilities:  + Establish relationships - Meet with referral partners on a consistent basis promoting Caring Transitions and building strong community relationships. + Contact and qualify leads - Prospect new sales leads by making an initial phone or email contact. Connect with as many leads as possible to encourage the purchase of the product offered. Be the point person for your team's sales lead qualification process. + Manage current accounts – Stay in close contact with existing accounts or leads and create brand awareness, educational opportunities, and request referrals. Coordinate in-person meetings and calls between the new clients and Account Executives. Requirements: + BS degree in Marketing or Business Administration is preferred + Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls) + Experience with CRM software + Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts) + Understanding of sales performance metrics + Reliable transportation + Ability to About Caring Transitions Caring Transitions is a National organization that has been in business since 2006.
