Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to spearhead sales and growth efforts in the electrical wire and cable sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the electrical industry, experience in B2B sales, and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with manufacturers, contractors, and end-users.
Reports to: Division Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
+ 3–5+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on electrical products, especially wire and cable.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Strong knowledge of the electrical distribution channel and construction industry.
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
+ Self-motivated with a strategic, analytical approach to sales growth.
+ Willingness to travel as needed (20–50%).
Working Conditions:
+ This job operates in a professional office environment and various warehouse locations and conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 75 pounds.

Essential Job Functions:
+ Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the electrical wire and cable market.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across electrical contractors and industrial clients.
+ Collaborate with internal product and technical teams to provide tailored solutions and product recommendations.
+ Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
+ Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
+ Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as needed.

Compensation Range:
The compensation range for this position is $80000 to $150000 annually.
