About the Opportunity
Aplin has partnered with a leading provider of automation solutions for e-commerce fulfillment and high-volume distribution centers. We are searching for a highly driven Sales Specialist to focus on expanding market share in the SLAM (Scan, Label, Apply, Manifest) and last-mile warehouse automation space.
In this role, you will identify, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities with e-commerce retailers, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and large distribution centers looking to streamline fulfillment operations, enhance throughput, and reduce manual labor.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business DevelopmentProspect and engage decision-makers in key industries, including e-commerce retail, healthcare, nutraceuticals, and high-volume distribution.Develop targeted sales strategies in collaboration with the marketing team to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.Educate and consult potential clients on automation solutions to optimize pack area workflows and increase efficiency.Leverage sales tools and content to drive interest and move prospects through the buying process.Work closely with application engineers to develop tailored solutions and quotes for the company's core automation systems.Pipeline & CRM ManagementTrack and manage all sales activities within Salesforce CRM to ensure efficient pipeline progression.Drive opportunities through the sales funnel, from initial outreach to contract closure.Provide regular sales forecasts and performance updates to leadership.Industry Engagement & TravelAttend industry trade shows and networking events to represent the company and generate new leads.Conduct customer site visits across Canada and the U.S., with occasional overnight travel required.Participate in weekly sales meetings to align on strategy and goals.What We’re Looking For3+ years of experience in B2B industrial automation, logistics, or packaging equipment sales.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive, goal-driven environment.Strong ability to develop new business and build relationships with key decision-makers.Experience with Salesforce CRM for sales tracking and pipeline management.Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.Post-secondary diploma or degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field.Work Environment & TravelOffice-based role.Travel within Canada and the U.S. for client meetings and trade shows (some overnight travel required).
