Business Development Pharmaceutical Services Manager
**Job Description Summary** The ZebraSci Business Development Services Manager will work with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to accelerate their combination product development program with ZebraSci services. The Business Development Services Manager will oversee existing accounts and develop business with new emerging accounts within the pharmaceutical space. This role will work closely with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to define combination product development requirements, maintain business relationships, manage existing business, oversee the sales and delivery of services. **Job Description** We are **the makers of possible** BD is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world. Become a **maker of possible** with us. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** **:** + Drive business development serviceactivities, ensuring a high-quality customer experience and best practices across the company + Achieve or exceed the sales goals as established in the annual or multi-annual plan for the territory, based on growth rate consistent with the average of the reference markets + Prepare and submit an Annual Plan for assigned accounts including unit sales forecast and written comments on either opportunities or threats. + Prepare customer proposals and statements of work with company technical experts to support customer combination product development requirements + Collaborate and work directly with BD commercial and technical resources as required to support customer activities + Plan and organize all travel for account visits to maximize the account coverage, optimize use of their time and other attendees, and respect expenses budget. + Establish detailed working relationships with all customercontacts - provide best in class service level to the customer + Develop an in-depth knowledge of all existing accounts and relevant knowledge of new/emerging accounts in their area of responsibility and the key decision-making personnel within these accounts. + Approach opportunities with customers with a problem-solving mentality and develop effective solutions with ZebraSci team in line with ZebraSci technical capabilities + Maintain records and reporting systems as required for the general operation of the business. Maintain such records and reports in a current condition and observe prudent good business practices in assuring that such materials are kept in a manner that permits easy access, review, and use as required. + Manage and support special project initiatives as assigned. + Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, proposal development, and inputs from various sources + Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen/qualify potential business opportunities, select the deals in line with strategies, and lead and facilitate sales logistics (i.e. internal/external customer visit preparation) + Support deal structure and pricing with business/market-based value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals + Motivate team, track performance, and report metrics **Minimum Requirement:** + Degree level qualification; or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Sales Experience; pharmaceutical preferred For certain roles at BD, employment is contingent upon the Company’s receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
