Job Description

To build and maintain a client base in line with its growth objectivesBuild and maintain professional working relationships with all stakeholders displaying excellent abilities to initiate dialogue listen advise influence and negotiate to achieve win win outcomesInitiate meetings with key stakeholders to track progress manage expectations and ensure stakeholders requirements are deliveredPreserve relationships despite airing conflicting views and seeks mutual gains when addressing conflictsAnticipate consequences and adapts problem solving based on continual feedbackAct speedily to resolve problems queries and complaintsAdapt communication styles to meet the needs of different audiencesMake cold calls and obtain leads and referrals from stakeholdersBe creative in generating new leadsIdentify opportunities through different sources and stakeholdersMeet with potential clients and understand their needsProvide and propose solutions around the requirements, and assist with the implementation of the dealIdentify credit requirements from the clientSubmit GM credit requirements to a Credit Analyst for submission to the Credit CommitteeAttend credit forums and provide support to the presenter as requiredAssist with relationship pricingMake regular visits to clients to maintain relationship and businessCreate calling plan and entertainment planReview pricing constantly to ensure pricing is competitiveUnderstand the clients business and identify opportunities to cross sell and introduce new products or additional solutionsReview pricing to maximise revenueKeep abreast of changes to clients businessInterrogate reasons for loss of clientGather all required documentation from client and submit to KYC teamOriginate the need for KYC, and inform the client of completion of KYC processContinue with the additional take on processOversee this process and handle concerns or obstructions and resolve issuesOversee loading of client on the systemDemonstrate pride in the organisations brand services and products by consistently delivering on the brands promiseFollow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintainedStay relevant and up to date with legislations and new developmentsMaintain a positive attitude and respond openly to feedbackHandle stress in ways that do not negatively impact othersPlan and manage own workflow anticipating obstacles juggling priorities and following through on objectives within agreed time frames and according to quality standardsTake ownership of personal career development leveraging formal and informal opportunitiesRead situations and organisational realitiesSet aside personal agenda for the greater goodAct in an ethical transparent and morally defensible manner including highlighting unethical practicesShare debate and communicate learningsFlag and debate issues constructivelyPromote a friendly cooperative climate
