About The Role

We currently have an opportunity for a professional, self-motivated individual with proven account development and negotiation skills to join our join our team based in Oakleigh, Victoria as a Business Development Manager - Industrial.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager- CI/PEU/Export/Transfers, this role will have you responsible for a defined territory and group of key customers in the Critical Infrastructure and Professional End User Markets.
 
The key responsibilities for this role will include:
 
•    Implementation of sales strategies to increase our revenue growth and market presence
•    Achieve Sales and Margin Budget for ASSA ABLOY products
•    Develop initiatives to support sales targets
•    Positioning ASSA ABLOY Australia as the business partner of choice
•    Work with end users and third parties to drive and pull through sales
•    Solution Selling: Provide total security solutions to key stakeholders within the Critical Infrastructure and Professional End User Channels
 

About You

You will be a results orientated individual with a focus on business acumen to understand your customers business and have a demonstrated ability to present relevant quality information to a wide customer base will be essential.

 

You will have: 

Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets and exceptional project management skills Knowledge and Experience dealing with Access Control Systems Strong Negotiation skills through managing Projects with key stakeholders Proven ability to achieve sales through effective communication and networking Solution selling skills to gain new business whilst maintaining existing accounts Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Software programs The ability to work in a team environment and autonomously Experience in field sales and have the ability to motivate, persuade and influence decision makers to ensure the achievement of sales objectives
