Position Description: Provides support for and enhances ATI business development pursuits, evaluates new areas of potential business, assists clients and partner relationships, and develops new opportunities within existing relationships as well as new clients and partners. Essential Functions: In-depth understanding of ATI’s vision, strategic priorities, people, capabilities, core business, and industry needs. Support ATI’s existing development pursuits, business proposals, and solutions. With oversight from Deputy Director, Director, or Vice President, directly responsible for increasing ATI business through new opportunities, partnerships and new and existing business relationships by, + Performing market research to identify new opportunities. + Creating new pursuits to expand current offerings. + Identifying and targeting new business development opportunities. + Facilitating successful interface with internal and external stakeholders. + Developing competitor profiles and business intelligence reporting. Assists in the proposal development process and/or when necessary, facilitates and leads the proposal process and acts as a proposal manager. Assists with the development and implementation of annual business development goals and objectives. Tracks business development resources and recommends the optimum use of time and funds expended. Prepares business plans and facilitates presentations and customer meetings. Assists with training, coaching and the development of ATI employees who have business development duties or responsibilities. Additional Responsibilities: Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree with five years of experience; or a Masters with three years of experience in capture leadership, business development, program management, and/or engineering roles demonstrating deep understanding of the Department of Defense (DoD), Other Transactional Authority (OTA) industry, or other related government experience. + Experience with government programs desirable. + Prior experience in business development and/or program management required. + Prior military or government service desired. + Prior experience in R&D acquisition and familiarity with the research and development sponsors within DoD and outside DoD desired. + Must possess an in-depth understanding of the federal budget and procurement process. + Experience in responding to requests for proposals (RFP) and preparing proposals. + Must be able to give in-depth briefings to executive level audience. + Strong computer skills including Excel skills, MS Office Suite - Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project desired. + MS Access experience a plus. + Must be able to travel at the discretion of ATI. + Must be either a U.S. Citizen by birth or naturalization. + Must be able to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance and successfully pass a background check to access sensitive information and automated systems. + This position is subject to a background check that includes a review of criminal records.
