Business Development Manager Data Centers – SSLAM

Purpose of the Job

To achieve annual sales revenue growth for the full range of Aggreko products and services in the Data Centre sector by building a successful SSLAM business, maintaining and developing the current customer base as well as acquiring new customers through focus on key Data Centre project opportunities identified.

Exceptional customer-facing and commercial skills, industry experience, and detailed customer knowledge are required.  A strong grasp of all the applications of Aggreko’s offering will be necessary.  Whilst the opportunity is broad, a strategic but focused approach will be required to refine and execute account plans within large and complex organisations.

The data centre sector provides customers with all of the Aggreko service lines.  This role will report to the Sales and Operation Manager for Mexico & CAC but will work across a wide geography to include our SSLAM Areas.  This role will have to manage multiple internal stakeholders across the business.  The role demands the ability to coordinate, influence and lead across all levels of the business without line-management authority.

Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities

Responsible for identifying, developing, and acquiring customers within the specified sectorResponsible for identifying, developing, and acquiring business within key project opportunities identified within the specified sectorWork with various stakeholders to develop and execute account plans focusing on key customers and key project opportunities in the pipelineWork with the S&O Managers across SSLAM (Spanish Speaking LAM), Head of Global Sector - Data Centres, and the Data Centre community to develop and execute the sector strategyEstablishes the sales and marketing plan for development of the sectorMonitors and achieves sales revenue volumes against budgeted targets, monitors forecast, manages pipeline and other sales information that is significant in predicting the business, heavy CRM usage and managementHeightens the profile of the company in its markets by building and creating recognition as an industry leader in innovation and progressive product solutionsThe specified accounts should be developed to a point where the strength of the relationship enables co-creation of new services and applications leveraging technology and partner knowledge to place Aggreko’s services at the cutting edge of the industryEstablishes and maintains effective working relationships with all associated personnel on a group-wide basisMonitors and analyses key account related legislations in order to anticipate potential impactsStudies and proposes fleet and services developments to answer customer and legislative needsDisplays a commitment to Aggreko initiativesAggreko places a strong emphasis on Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental protection.  It is a requirement and moral obligation of each employee to be actively committed and accountable for compliance to the Aggreko Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and local legislation, and ensure completion and validity of all minimum QHSE training and objectives required by the company.

Person Specification/Job Requirements

Degree qualification in sales or in a technical discipline3-5 years of experience in power, load banks and temperature control industryExperience and understanding of the Data Centre industry is preferredComputer literateDedication and commitment to achieving objectivesTarget driven and results orientatedValid driving licenceMust possess entrepreneurial skills, be able to think out of the box, and provide solutionsGood ability to read, write, and speak Spanish and English is a must, Portugues is a plus
