We are seeking an expert Business Development leader to join the Wallet, Payments & Commerce (WPC) Business Development team to help define the next wave of payments innovation for the Apple Pay platform. In this role, you will be responsible for developing partnerships with market-leading payment firms across various payments sectors, including money transfer organizations (MTOs), real-time payments schemes, open banking platforms, among others. To drive product innovation, candidate must have a strong grasp of the global payment ecosystem, understanding key players and market forces, technical systems (e.g., payment network components, tokenization), economics, and evolving regulation. Candidate must balance their depth of payment knowledge with acute business development skills, including building influential relationships, business case development, partnership negotiations, and ushering go-to-market launches. You will guide complex, cross-functional projects, diving into product details with diverse set of internal partners on a regular basis. A successful candidate is passionate about payments, comfortable with ambiguity, and is a persuasive verbal and written communicator. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $88,100 and $173,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
