About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in Japan. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities and expanding our presence in the private sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and a deep understanding of SaaS solutions.
This position focuses on New Business in the Corporate market.
Responsibilities
Identifying and targeting potential clients in the private sector, including large corporations and mid-sized businesses.
Developing and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Partnering with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
Effectively communicating the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
Negotiating contract terms with clients and work with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
Keeping abreast of new product developments and competitive landscape.
Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Have a minimum of 3 years of sales experience, with a strong focus on new business development, preferably in the technology or SaaS sector.
Have fluent in Japanese and business level English is a plus, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
Display excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel as needed.
