What you'll be doing :
Prospect, nurture open and close a portfolio of new customer / new business opportunities to deliver year on year profitable CG growthMaximise the full growth opportunities for CPS by pulling through CPS propositions and collaborating across CPS Client Groups to share potential growth opportunitiesDeveloping compelling win strategies that prospect, nurture, open and close new business opportunities within the CG target- sector plan or overall GTM strategy. Primary focus of the role is new business acquisition (new logo’s and new business from existing clients)Driving sales performance to originate, secure and deliver a robust multi-year pipeline of new business in support of the growth strategy and plan Lead qualification recommendations, through sales governance, ensuring opportunities & deal proposals adhere to commercial, operational and architectural standardsDemonstrate rigorous sales forecasting and management of the sales pipeline (using the full Salesforce capability) to enable accurate data-led planning, reporting & performance & risk managementWhat we're looking for :
Business Development experience - minimum 4 years experience of robust business development in complex market environmentsExperience of the Learning Services industry is preferableSelf-starter able to work from white space to generate, influence, nurture and close opportunitiesOperates at senior / mid-levels of public sector policy & decision-makingEngaging communicator, able to excite clients with compelling CPS offerings & build impactful, trusting relationships quicklyDemonstrates resilience and decisive, timely decision-making to close or pursue opportunities, ensuring pipeline health and efficiency to maximise sales value for CG and CPSDrives & models best practise sales disciplines in business development practise, account planning, opportunity pipeline management, reporting and risk management (super-user of Salesforce)Deep market understanding & insights to build credibility and trust with new and existing clients and create & deliver growth strategies that deliver value
