Business Development Manager
What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure: This position is within Siemens Industry – Buildings (SIB) and will support LCBs, their Field Offices in Asia Pacific and the Digital Service Center (DSC). It is preferred that this individual reside within the area they serve and will operate from their Home Office, while supporting LCBs in Asia Pacific and work closely with the Digital Service Center (India and Singapore). This individual will drive business development activities by leveraging SIB Digital Services strategies and offerings (remote, cloud based, analytics and data driven) while also promoting Outcome Based and Performance Driven Service Contracts. This individual will also work very closely with the DSC and offer valuable field experience and insight. Working with Sales and Operations resources, this individual is expected to assist in generating and managing highly qualified Digital Service opportunities and increase the understanding & value perception of SIB’s digital capabilities, both internally and externally.
Responsibilities: Provides significant input to all aspects of development of strategies for profitable penetration of our Digital Service offering into new and existing accounts. Leads and drives new program ideas which result in profitable market strategies to ensure achievement of assigned business goals. Facilitates continuous education of SIB’s Sales and Operations resources in understanding and positioning SIB’s quickly advancing digital & analytics offering. Participates in pre-sales engagement with strategic accounts and engages in ‘Thought Leadership’ activities to create growth in market.
Drive Proven Outcomes: Lead the Sales and Operations teams to fulfill commitments to customers using digital services and offerings.Pre-Sales Interface: Serve as the primary point of contact for pre-sales activities with SIB's Sales resources.Expert Support: Provide expert knowledge and assistance to Sales Executives and Account Managers for timely and informed responses to opportunities.Strategic Campaigns: Develop and execute strategic campaigns to support business development needs.Training and Workshops: Deliver training and workshops to field staff to enhance their digital expertise and attract/grow clients.Solution Demonstration: Participate in the development and delivery of demonstrations to showcase the value of solutions to key decision makers. 
You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including: COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement: Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless legally exempted.HVAC and Building Automation Expertise: Strong knowledge of HVAC and Building Automation Systems.Service and Solutions Understanding: Solid understanding of Service and Solutions Businesses.Branch Organizational Structure: Familiarity with Branch Organizational Structures.Experience and Education: 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree required.Technical and Business Skills: Understanding of Building Data Analytics, Account Management, and New Business Development.
