Senior Sales Manager - Energy Industries Brazil
Your role and responsibilitiesDescription: Develop, implement, and manage the Energy Generation segment with a focus on Hydroelectric and Thermoelectric plants for the Process Automation portfolio (PAEN). This involves addressing commercial and technical administrative issues both internally and externally, aiming for strategic sales growth focused on segment growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:• Develop strategies for the Energy Generation industrial segment of the Energy Industries division, with an emphasis on the largest or most strategic networks, ensuring that Account Plans and growth actions for the customer portfolio (of each division) are performing and delivering the planned results.Define and propose sales targets and growth margins for the segment accounts, ensuring their achievement with a structured monitoring process.Plan, facilitate, and conduct negotiations by leading the relationship with clients, based on a defined strategy, acting as the focal point for problem resolution and monitoring any complaints.Create added value for the customer and ABB, ensuring a coordinated sales approach aimed at selling with a focus on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the Energy Industries business unit.Monitor competitor activity in the segment and ensure that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented, including signaling market price evolution.Identify market trends in the industrial segment and develop a value proposition (innovation, services, or marketing resources) aimed at making a company or product attractive to customers in the respective segment. Direct the global account management approach (sales targets) among ABB Energy Industries Division.
Qualifications for the roleEducation: Completed higher education, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Automation.Mandatory: Previous experience with B2B sales for the energy generation segments (Hydroelectric, Thermoelectric, and related fields).Mandatory: Knowledge of the industrial automation portfolio (e.g., control systems and controllers).Differential: Knowledge of the electrification portfolio.Language: Advanced or fluent English is required.
