Role Purpose/Business Unit:

 

To deliver the Carrier Connectivity sales, driving profitable growth and retention  for Vodacom South Africa, including delivery methodologies, product lifecycle, as well as direct sales and customer engagement

Your responsibilities will include:

 

Directly lead sales to deliver  fixed connectivity revenues and margins Actively formulate pipeline, establish and manage relationships with customers including retentionsDetailed account planning, ensuring growth and profitability, cross-selling and upselling.Respond to tenders working with cross-functional teams to successfully negotiate deals and professionally present Vodacom carrier propositions. Collaborate with  technology, legal, & regulatory teams in ensuring agile delivery of solutions/products while adhering to regulations, standards and customer SLAsDevelop & customise innovative products and solutions to remain competitive in the Carrier Connectivity market.Manage strategic partners and suppliers to ensure cost-effective, agile and reliable delivery and Wholesale NPS.The ideal candidate for this role will have:

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications: 

Relevant degree Proficiency with MS Office, Salesforce or similar sales management tools and methodologiesBetween 8-10 years minimum experience in Carrier Connectivity Sales


Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

At least 8 years of experience in fixed carrier connectivity sales & management of  complex propositions (eg national long distance fibre, subsea capacity, IP Transit/dedicated internet access, Managed Services.Proven capability  to drive negotiations & present complex concepts and proposals Proven track record in driving sales & achieving profitable revenue growthMultinational/OPCO experience in an ICT environment would be an advantage
